These “hidden in plain sight” devices look identical to common vitamin capsules, and so have a good chance of avoiding detection and confiscation by captors.

These could be valuable tools for operatives or even civilians in hostile environments in which escape from unlawful captivity could be a necessary survival option.

KEVLAR®  FRICTION SAW

This capsule contains a friction saw made from 6 feet of Kevlar® cord.

It can enable a captive to quickly cut through restraints such as flex cuffs and zip ties.

The saw has pre-tied foot loops on each end so that the “bicycling” technique (Click to watch video here) is immediately ready to deploy.

The friction generated by this action can quickly cut through the restraint by melting the plastic.
