Ballistic Trip Line

Ballistic Trip Line™ is the new industry gold standard for trip line.

It’s crafted from woven 12-strand Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene (UHMWPE).

This material is often sold under the brand name of Spectra® or Dyneema®, and is used to make light weight armor for aircraft, vehicles, and vests.

It’s known for its high strength (40% higher than Kevlar®), cut resistance, low stretch, resistance to ultraviolet breakdown, and ballistic properties.

It has very low friction so it slides easily over leaves, branches or other obstructions, does not reflect light when viewed with night vision equipment, and it even floats on water.

Great for use with virtually all trip-activated devices, including the Alarm Signaling Device.

Available in two options: 75 feet on a nifty flexible plastic clamshell dispenser/container spool (1.75” diameter x 0.5” height) that fits in your pocket easily, or 600 feet on a bulk spool.
